2014 Overview

Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), evermore efficient automatic correction systems driven by advances in artificial intelligence, new mobile applications for smartphones and tablets, increased audiovisual connection possibilities, etc.

The 32nd Expolangues fair positioned itself at the forefront of all these developments, to enable market players to engage with their audiences and demonstrate the new approaches they are deploying.

In addition, Expolangues remains the European showcase for multilingualism and an unequalled space for all language professionals to meet and interact.
All five continents were represented, including, for the first time, Thailand.

The sponsorships of France’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of National Education and Ministry of Culture and Communication reflected the importance attributed to foreign language learning in France and the promotion of French overseas.

As well as this ministerial backing, the event was supported by Miguel Angel Martínez Martínez, Vice President of the European Parliament responsible for multilingualism.
